Saskatoon teen pleads guilty to home invasion in Caswell Hill
A 14-year-old boy in Saskatoon had pleaded guilty to a raft of charges connected to a home invasion on May 8 in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood.
In a news release, police said a person in the home called 911 around 1 a.m. CST.
"The caller stated that an individual wearing a mask had broken into the home through a window and they had a knife. Upon arrival, the residents had restrained the suspect after a struggle," the release said.
"He was taken into custody without further incident. One of the residents suffered minor injuries from the altercation. The suspect and victims were not known to each other."
Police say they recovered a backpack, a knife, a mask, rubber gloves and a flashlight.
The teen cannot be named because of his age.

A pre-sentence report and a psychiatric report have both been ordered.
